The signing and appointment ceremony of distinguished professor of the college was held in the conference room of the Administrative Building on Nov. 10. Professor Li Jinping, Taishan Industry Leading Talent and director of IPRIS of Jinan University, was hired as our distinguished professor .
At the ceremony, President Jiang Yupeng introduced the general situation of the college and the basic situation of the construction of the Double High-level Program, as well as the important measures taken by the college in terms of talent introduction, specialty construction, practical teaching, integration of industry and education and the construction of double qualified team around the new needs of industrial development and regional economy for talent training.
President Jiang said that as a distinguished professor of the college, Professor Li Jinping will provide strong support for the teaching and scientific research, teacher training and integration of industry and education of the School of Information Engineering Technology. We should take this opportunity to optimize the professional layout, improve the teaching and scientific research level of teachers and enhance the comprehensive strength of the profession.
After the appointment ceremony, Li Jinping gave a special lecture on the writing of scientific and technological papers to the professional teachers of the School of Information Engineering Technology, had a discussion and exchange with the participating teachers, shared their career development process and experience, and encouraged teachers to focus, cultivate and take root in the field of information technology, and strive to improve their professional ability and scientific research level.
At the ceremony, Jiang Yupeng and Li Jinping jointly signed the appointment agreement, and Jiang Yupeng issued the letter of appointment of distinguished professor to Li Jinping.
