The National Concert Fenghua Guoyun of Symphony Orchestra of Qingdao Opera & Dance Drama Theater was held in the College Gymnasium on the afternoon of May 26, sponsored by the Publicity Department and the Education Working Committee of Qingdao Municipal Party Committee. More than 1200 teachers and students enjoyed the music feast.
The concert opened in the joyful music of National Orchestra Ensemble Good News from Beijing to the Border Village. The performers played the national melodies familiar to the public, such as Yao dance, Er Quan Ying Yue, Horse Racing, etc., and brought the melodious, warm and lively suona duet Playing Snow Lantern on Chinese Lantern Festival” and other wonderful pieces.
In the concert, there are not only traditional folk music performance, but also singers and new folk music performance forms, focusing on viewing, popularization and artistry. Among them, the modern new folk music ambush on all sides and Yi dance music let the present teachers and students have a new feeling of the charm of different national music. “The Boat of Nanhu lake, the Cradle of the Party”, and Never Forget the Original Heart sing the Party's hundred year history with the national voice, eulogize the party's great achievements, which pushed the concert to a climax.
At the end of the concert, My Motherland expresses the deepest love and blessing for our motherland.
With warm applause and cheers, the National Concert came to a successful conclusion. During the performance, the orchestra leaders introduced the musical instruments and the repertoire, and popularized the knowledge of folk music to the teachers and students.
