Member Unit Congress of Qingdao Study Tourism Base Association & Development Summit Forum were held in the Academic Lecture Hall of our college on the morning of April 24. Mr. He Jiangang, deputy director of Investment Promotion Department of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Deng Dezhi, director of Institute of Study Tourism of Zhejiang Tourism Development Research Center, Mr. Wang Yachao, General Manager of Beijing Zhongkai International Travel Co., Ltd., and President Jiang Yupeng attended the conference.
President Jiang Yupeng pointed out in his speech that our college actively implements the mission of higher vocational colleges to serve regional economic development, pays attention to strengthening the close connection between talent training and industrial demand side, and has also made remarkable achievements in the early stage of Shandong Institute of Study Tourism, which is established in our college and jointly built by government, industry, enterprises and schools. As the president of Qingdao Study Tourism Base Association, the college will play a greater role in personnel training, professional construction, enterprise technical services and industry standards.
Mr. He Jiangang hoped that Qingdao Study Tourism Base Association could play a role in assisting the competent authorities to formulate and implement the industry rules and regulations and various standards, and do a good job in guiding, serving and supervising the quality of products and services and the operation and management of Qingdao Study Tourism Base.
The conference elected the president unit, vice president unit and secretary general unit. Mr. Jiang Yupeng, Mr. He Jiangang and others awarded letters of appointment to each unit. Mr. Shi Meishan, vice president of the School of Culture and Tourism, was elected President of the Association, and Ms. Zhu Linan was elected Deputy Secretary General of the Association.
At the summit forum, Deng Dezhi, Wang Yachao and Zhu Linan made speeches respectively on the topics of Blue Ocean Competition - Study Tourism, How to build a study tourism base that customers like and Study Tourism Talent Outlook. Relevant member units carried out in-depth exchanges on the development of research and learning travel industry in Qingdao.
