The School of Hotel Management signed a contract with Starbucks to establish the first Starbucks Industry Institute in China On March 18. The opening ceremony was held in Zhenxuan store of Qingdao Starbucks China Railway Center.
Mr. Wang Changyu, Dean of School of Hotel Management, and Mr. Sun Chang, chief operating officer of Starbucks in North East China, signed the school enterprise cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides and unveiled the Starbucks Industry Institute. Both sides jointly awarded the appointment letter to the tutor of Starbucks Industry Institute. Sun Chang read out the list of members of the Executive Committee of Starbucks Institute.
Dean Wang said in his speech that the signing of the school enterprise cooperation agreement and the establishment of Starbucks Industry Institute is a key work of the college's Double high-level plan construction. He hoped that the two sides would, in line with the principle of complementary advantages, benefit sharing, cooperative education and common development, pool advantageous resources, and fully promote the construction and development of Starbucks Industry Institute.
Mr. Sun Chang said that relying on Starbucks Industrial Institute, both schools and enterprises will give full play to their resource advantages, innovate modern talent training mode, continuously improve the quality of talent training, jointly cultivate high-quality skilled talents for the development of the beverage industry, and spread the coffee culture.
