The first class of the college started as scheduled. Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, and Jiang Yupeng, President of the college, walked into the classroom and gave lectures to all teachers and students in the form of online and offline combination on March 1 and 2.
With the title of Showing Youth's Responsibility through Action, Li Da focused on looking back at the 13th Five-year Plan, writing in great detail on the development of China in the new era, China's anti-poverty campaign won an all-round victory, the miracle in history, looking forward to the 14th Five-year Plan, full of confidence, opening a good start for the new Five-year Plan. Mr. Li Da summarized the all-round victory in tackling China's anti-poverty through detailed historical facts, data and examples, profoundly analyzed why the Communist Party of China can do the job well, why Marxism works and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good. He encourages students to show their responsibility, devote themselves to great practice, firm their faith, follow the party, resonate with the motherland, and move in the same direction with the times.
With the topic of remembering history and creating the future, Jiang Yupeng narrated the struggle course and history contribution of the Communist Party of China in various stages from the perspective of the grand historical view from three chapters of the glory of suffering after the Opium War, promoting the spirit of revolutionary heroism, realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The vivid Party history education drives teachers and students to improve their understanding and political standing, deeply plants patriotic feelings, and is determined to take root in the people. It is hoped that teachers and students will fully understand the significance of carrying out the study of Party history, practice their original intention and mission in the study, and build up their beliefs in the study, thinking and practice.
Gong Enlong, vice president of the college, presided over the first class session. He said that the new era is the era of strivers. He hoped that the students would keep in mind their earnest instructions and strive to combine their personal ideals with the mission of the times and constantly realize their new growth.
