On September 30, the Provincial Education Committee and the Provincial Education Department issued the notice on announcing the results of the selection of the annual figures of the teachers of Ideological and political courses in Shandong universities and the counselors of Shandong universities in 2020.
Li Yao, vice president of the Marxism Dept., was awarded the "Excellent Ideological and Political Teachers of Shandong Universities".
Li Yao, Ph.D. of law and associate professor, has excellent political quality, outstanding teaching ability, high level of scientific research, and has been awarded A-level teaching evaluation for many times. She has won the third prize of the National Information Teaching Competition of vocational colleges, the first prize of the third Ideological and Political Theory Teaching Competition of Shandong universities, and has been awarded the honorary title of Excellent Communist Party Member and Teaching Expert of the college.
Li Yan, the counselor of the Dept. of Hotel Management, was awarded the "Excellent Counselor of Shandong Universities".
Li Yan, associate professor, has been a counselor for more than 1500 students in five sessions since 2006. She has been awarded the honorary titles of Excellent Teachers, Top Ten Advanced Educators, Excellent Communist Party Member, excellent party affairs workers and Excellent Counselor of Shandong Universities in December 2017.
