The college signed a contract with Shandong Shunhe Hotel Group to establish Shunhe Institute of Catering Industry(SICI) and the unveiling ceremony was held in the Academic Lecture Hall on September 17.
Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee of the college and Ren Xingben, chairman of Shunhe Hotel Group, signed the school enterprise cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides, and inaugurated SICI. Wang Xin, deputy secretary of the college Party committee, and Bai Lu, vice president of Shunhe Hotel Group, unveiled the Training base of production and education integration .
In his speech, Li Da extended a warm welcome to Ren Xingben and his party and congratulated the establishment of SICI. He pointed out that the signing of the school enterprise cooperation agreement between the two sides and the establishment of SICI is a key work of the college's Double high-level program”, which will open a new chapter of bilateral cooperation. Based on the principle of complementary advantages, shared interests, cooperative education and common development, Li Da stressed that the cooperation should gather advantageous resources, and spare no effort to promote the construction and development of SICI, and strive to become a benchmark for the construction of industrial colleges in Shandong Province.
At the ceremony, Wang Xin read out the list of council members of SICI, and Li Da presented the appointment letter to the members of the Council.
Ren Xingben introduced the basic situation of Shunhe Hotel Group in his speech. Relying on the establishment of SICI, both the school and the enterprise give full play to the resource advantages, innovate the modern talent training mode, continuously improve the quality of talent training, jointly cultivate the high-quality skilled talents urgently needed by the development of the catering industry, and lead the healthy development of the catering industry, he said.
After the ceremony, Ren Xingben gave the first lecture of the Institute under the title of catering industry is the sun that never sets. He introduced the development process of Shunhe Hotel Group and the enterprise standardized management system, analyzed the current development status and trend of catering industry, and encouraged students to learn professional knowledge and make contributions to the development of catering industry.
