The 2019 Skill Competition of Modern Hotel and Tour Guide Service of Shandong province was successfully held in our college from November 13 to 14.
81 contestants from 27 colleges in the province participated in the modern hotel service competition. The competition is divided into three parts: Chinese banquet table design, western Ala carte service, Chinese-style making bed and turndown service. The hotel service competition is closer to the industry practice, and the referee experts are more diversified.
76 contestants from 38 colleges in the Shandong province participated in the tour guide service competition, which was divided into four parts: knowledge test, on-site speech and explanation, oral English test, talent show, etc. The tour guide service competition completely follows the national competition system, which is more reasonable in content, more compact in links, more scientific, and pays more attention to the comprehensive quality of the participants.
During the competition, all links are smoothly connected and progressing smoothly. At the same time, we also held various activities such as school enterprise cooperation and exchange, the display of educational training products, teaching materials, flower art and tea art. The leaders and instructors of the participating institutions exchanged the events in the designated areas.
