The competition is one of the important events of Asia Agro-Food Expo Qingdao 2019. It highlights the combination of traditional skills and innovation, aiming to show the players' skills and creativity in the inheritance and innovation of dishes. In accordance with the requirements of the competition, the Dept. of Culinary Arts has established a competition guidance team with Wang Jianming as its team leader and Wang Zhixing, Li Jun and Ding Delong as its instructor, who constantly innovated dish technology and carried out intensive training. After fierce competition, Wang Jun stood out among 60 competitors, won the only first prize in hot dish project with his work Fulin Beef Rolls and the honorary title of New Kitchen Star.
The competition set up a cooking exchange platform for our students, who demonstrated the excellent professional skills and good professional accomplishment.
