From May 13 to 17, Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of our college, and his delegation visited and exchanged with Hyejeon College and Silla University, South Korea. During the visit, they signed the cooperation agreement of the Culinary Overseas Promotion Center, attended the listing ceremony of the Chinese Culinary Overseas Promotion Center of Hyejeon College, visited some specialties and training rooms of some colleges, and visited our exchange students in South Korea.

Li Shizhen, President of Hyejeon College, warmly received Li Da and his delegation. Li Shizhen and Li Da delivered speeches on behalf of the two sides and signed cooperation agreements and jointly listed for the Culinary Overseas Promotion Center, which marks the establishment of another overseas branch of our institute. The two schools will cooperate and jointly promote the cultural exchange between China and South Korea, and cultivate more culinary professionals.

During their visit to Hyejeon College, the two sides made in-depth discussions and reached broad consensus on the following aspects: cooperative planning of Chinese cuisine projects, cultural experience in China, study abroad in China, establishment of Korean Culinary

Overseas Promotion Centers, and professional teachers’ training. Accompanied by President Li Shizhen, Li Da and his delegation visited many majors such as culinary arts, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, children's education and dental mechanics, and held cordial talks with students who are studying there.

Li Da and his delegation also visited Silla University and were warmly received by Piao Taixue, the president of the university. The two sides discussed in detail the project of overseas promotion, short-term cultural experience and the third China-Korea Art and Design Exhibition. During the visit, Li Da and his delegation visited the IOT Research and Development Center, some classrooms and training rooms of Arts College and aviation service specialty, dormitories for foreign students and Language College, and held a symposium with 32 students from our college. At the symposium, Li Da knew well about the students' learning and living conditions. The students were so inspired that they will reward our college and try to get more achievements in the future.

This exchange laid a solid foundation for further cooperation with two institutions in South Korea. More precise professional docking and the establishment of China Culinary Overseas Promotion Center will further promote the construction of high-quality schools and enhance the international influence of our college.
