A delegation from Kyoto Seizan College visits our college

Takashi Hongming, The executive president of Kyoto Seizan College, Guo Xin, the president of the International Exchange Center, Jimo Liangyi, and Japanese culture lecturer Shimei Shuizaki came to our college for exchange on the afternoon of May 14. They also gave a tea ceremony performance on the second floor of the training center for our students. Zhou Li, Director of the International Office, attended the event.

Takashi Hongming explained in detail the origin and history of tea ceremony, tea drinking procedures, tea ceremony etiquette and so on. Shinmei Shuizaki performed the steps of ordering, boiling, brewing and offering tea, as well as the main points of tea tasters'movements, which showed the Japanese tea culture. During the tea ceremony performance, the live video of the students who are currently studying in their institute in Japan was also shown on the big screen. During the visit, Takashi Hongming and his delegation also conducted interviews with students preparing to study in Japan for the next semester.

Kyoto Seizan College is a two-year undergraduate college in Japan. It is an accredited exchange system school of Kyoto University Alliance. Since June 2010, it has cooperated with our institute. The two sides have achieved substantial results in student exchanges and cultural experience.
