The competition is sponsored by the Shandong Education Department and the Executive Committee of the Shandong Vocational College Skills Competition.Fourteen students from eleven vocational colleges, such as Rizhao Vocational and Technical College, Dongying Vocational College and Zibo Vocational College, came to participate in the competition. Based on the typical tasks of enterprises and referring to the core skills of posts, the Customs Skills competition focuses on examining the practical operation ability and professional accomplishment of competitors. It covers the comprehensive abilities of import and export commodity classification, customs declaration document processing, customs declaration document quality monitoring and customs operation.
Through pre-planning and careful preparation, our college set up a leading group headed by Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee, and a working group headed by Gong Enlong, Vice-President. With the full cooperation of all functional departments, the college selection team carefully prepared in examination questions, technical services, tournament service guarantee, reception of participating teams and volunteer service, and the working group was well organized. Because of reasonable schedule, smooth progress of the competition and the whole course of the competition zero complaints, our work has been unanimously praised by all participants.
In February, our college was selected by the Organizing Committee Office of Shandong Vocational College Skills Competition as the leading Institute of the Customs Skills Training Cooperative Group of the 2019 National Vocational Skills Competition. According to the requirements of Shandong Provincial Education Department, the leading schools of training cooperation group should organize the selection contest in accordance with the selection scheme, and determine the contestants to participate in the national contest. At the same time, the school which ranks first in the results of the selection competition will be responsible for the organization and liaison of the teams participating in the competition in Shandong Province.
