The finals and awarding ceremony of Most Beautiful Song Contest of Shandong College Students with the theme “40 Years of Song Passion were held in Jinan on the evening of November 25, Song Jiaying, a Korean majored student of Grade 2017, finally won the first prize after four rounds of competition.
The award of this contest fully demonstrates the fruitful achievements of the cultural construction of our college, and demonstrates the positive and healthy spiritual outlook of our students. We attached great importance to this event and actively selected excellent players and works to participate in it. In the early stage, we held a selection contest among all the students, and Song Jiaying stood out as the representative of the college to participate in the provincial contest. She is the only non-professional player in the top nine of the competition, and it’s very hard for her to win the first prize.
This contest is sponsored by the Propaganda Department, Education Department and the Communist Youth League of the Shandong Provincial Committee. It is co-sponsored by the Shandong Education Television Station and the colleges and universities in Shandong. It is one of the series activities to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of reform and opening. Since its launch this April, more than 100 colleges and universities have responded positively. More than 20,000 students have signed up for participation and there’re 20 preliminary contests successively. The activities have focused on the results of aesthetic education in Colleges and universities through the selections and television programs.
