A Bite of China,A renowned Chinesegourmet TV program, interviewed Professor Wang Guiyun during the Chinese New Year 2018.
Professor Wang, a top national master of Chinese pastry and lecturer in the department of Culinary Arts, has been teaching Chinese pastry for 35years in QVTCHM. She is very popular among students because she is skilled, patient and strict in her teaching.
Jiaozi is a traditional food for Chinese for a long time and people must have it during Chinese Spring Festival in northern China. Professor Wang was born to be a master of making Jiaozi and noodles.A Bite of China introduces her story of making the delicious Jiaozi. She shared her unique idea about seasoned seafood and demonstrates her excellent skills of making a variety of colorful Jiaozi with seafood stuff.
Every year, many international students visit our college and learn Chinese culinary arts. Professor Wang demonstrates how to make Jiaozi and noodles. Everyone felt so surprised when they saw the long noodles as thin as hairs. “”It’s amazing” said many top Chinese chefs when they watched the performance of making noodles.
