The college held the opening ceremony of the 4th Training Program of Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages on March 5.
Han Xiqing, deputy secretary of the Party committee, attended the ceremony and said, our college vigorously promote the internationalization of school strategy, actively implement the Chinese Plus Vocational Skills education, promote international Chinese education and vocational education integration and development. Creating an internationalized teacher team of Chinese Plus Vocational Skills is an important initiative of the college. It’s hoped that the participating teachers will successfully get the Certificate and become internationalized teachers.
The Program was organized by the Nonferrous Metals Industry Talent Center, an authorized certification test center of the Center for Education and Cooperation of Ministry of Education, and was divided into two parts, namely, written training and interview training, which lasted for a period of three months. It provided systematic training on the basics of Chinese culture and Chinese language teaching, cultivated the teachers' intercultural communication skills, and improved the teachers' internationalization vision.
