The graduation ceremony for the students majoring in Chinese culinary of Class 2023 from Hyejeon College

The college held a graduation ceremony for the students majoring in Chinese culinary of Class 2023 from Hyejeon College on 28th December.

In his speech, President Jiang Yupeng expressed his warm congratulations to the 11 students who successfully completed their studies, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the faculty and staff who made efforts for this training.

He said that the Chinese Cuisine Training Programme of Hyejeon College is a successful case of cooperation between the two colleges. In just four months, the students have learned cooking skills, visited tourist attractions, made Chinese friends, and understood the original Chinese culture; He hoped that the two sides will further deepen exchanges and cooperation, focus on the direction of internationalisation of the culinary arts, carry out the depth of the cross-border cooperation of Industry and Academia, and make positive contributions to the mutual appreciation of the civilisations of China and South Korea.

Li Huishu,president of Hyejeon College, hoped that the two sides would take the specialty as a medium, continuously broaden the path of international training of students, and jointly cultivate youthful messengers of cultural exchange and civilisation dissemination between China and South Korea.

At the ceremony, Jiang Yupeng signed the Agreement on Industry-Academia Cooperation with Kim Yuwen, a legal person of Korea Institute of Food Culture.

Jiang Yupeng awarded certificates of completion to the students. Han Xiqing presented graduation souvenirs to students, and Zhang Zongguo presented certificates to outstanding students.

Liu Junxin, vice dean of the School of Culinary Arts, made a summary evaluation of this period of training. Kim Yi Jin, a student of Hyejeon College, made a representative speech, and the participants watched a short film summarising the review of the students' life in our college.

The successful completion of this training programme is another landmark achievement of the international exchange and cooperation project of Double High-level Program, which is of positive significance for exporting high-quality teaching standards of culinary profession, expanding the dissemination of Chinese food culture, and building an international brand of Chinese vocational education.
