From 18 to 21 December, the Grand Final of the 3rd National Institutions Civil Aviation Vocational Skills Competition was successfully held in Sanya Aviation & Tourism College.
Under the guidance of Li Qian and Xu Shu, teachers from the School of Hospitality Management, the team composed of six students, including Wang Liying and Jia Yunshen, entered the national finals for the first time and won the second prize.
The competition was organised by China Air Transport Association and Hainan Human Resources Development Bureau, and hosted by Sanya Aviation & Tourism College and Beijing Xiangyu Education Consulting Co., Ltd.
The competition was divided into seven modules: professional image display at opening ceremony , theoretical in-flight test, in-flight first aid, aircraft equipment, English proficiency and comprehensive services, and excellent competition display of closing ceremony.
The closing ceremony was especially set up for the display of outstanding competitions, and our students Wang Liying and Xue Yanyan performed the cabin service for blind passengers.
On 22 December, in the recruitment fair of the airline company after the competition, all the six participants of our school passed the final interview of China Southern Airlines.
The school will continue to take work ability as the guide, focus on cultivating students' craftsmanship and professional ethics, build a scientific system of skill development and ability training, and cultivate more composite and practical talents for China Civil Aviation.
