The college visits French colleges and sets up Tea Art Workshop.

Han Xiqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, and his party visited and exchanged with several colleges in France from 11th to 15th December, and held a Chinese pastry and tea skills exhibition at École Hôtelière du Périgord and Ecole de Savignac, and set up the QVTCHM Tea Art Workshop.

During the discussion and exchange with École Hôtelière du Périgord and Ecole de Savignac, the college delegation introduced the basic situation of the school and reviewed the development history of Sino-French colleges; the French schools positively evaluated the fruitful results of the cooperation between the two sides. The representatives of the Sino-French colleges had in-depth discussions on the promotion of joint training programmes for students, holiday study and exchange programmes, teachers' skills and cultural training programmes, as well as scientific research cooperation in the modern service industry.

After the discussion, the representatives witnessed the signing of the co-operation agreement and the opening ceremony of QVTCHM Tea Art Workshop. In order to publicise and promote Chinese traditional skills and tell the Chinese story well, the delegation of the college carried out the activities of Chinese pastry and tea skills exhibition, which was highly praised by the teachers and students of the French schools.

At ISMAC and Group IGS in Paris, the delegation had a discussion with the heads of international affairs of the two schools. The two sides introduced the general situation of the school, professional settings and planning, international exchanges and cooperation, and students' needs for international development, and gained an in-depth understanding of professional development, curriculum construction and so on. Both sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention in terms of teachers' mutual visits, students' mutual exchanges and assignments, scientific research cooperation and students' academic qualification upgrading, etc.

Afterwards, the delegation visited 8 teaching classes and 6 teaching practice classes of the four schools, as well as the training rooms of western cooking and western pastry production.

This visit is a result of the school's Double High-level Program, which is also a manifestation of the promotion of Chinese technical skills and the sustainable development of in-depth cooperation.
