The Tourist Guide Service Event of 16th Shandong Provincial Competition of higher vocational group officially started in the college on December 11th. It’s jointly organized by Department of Education and other three departments and hosted by our college.
The competition is based on the principle of docking with the national competition standard, drawing on the industry standard, highlighting vocational characteristics, and reflecting innovation and creation, and assesses the overall comprehensive quality of students in the process of tour guide service and related abilities.
The content of the competition consists of three modules: tour guide quality and business ability test, tour guide English oral test, and tour guide talent utilization. Through the competition, it can test the comprehensive ability of higher vocational tourism majors in tour guide service such as theoretical knowledge of tour guide, compilation and creation of tour guide, explanation of tour guide, oral communication and communication in English and display of talent.
As the host institution, the college has set up a special preparation committee for the competition, formulated a detailed hosting program and contingency plan, carefully planned for the event, and fully cooperated with the preparatory work.
