On December 8-10, the 2023 Shandong Province Skills Prosper Shandong Vocational Skills Competition was successfully held in our school for the vocational skills competition of study tour instructors in the culture and tourism system.
This competition is the first study tour instructor competition in the province under the guidance of Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Affairs, aiming to build a platform for study tour instructors to show their talents and innovation.
The competition attracting a total of 39 units of competitors is divided into two groups: employee and student, the employee group for the province's study travel industry engaged in the work of corporate employees, teachers, student group for the province's higher vocational colleges and universities, undergraduate colleges and universities in the tourism class of full-time students.
The competition is an individual competition, divided into two parts: the preliminary round and the final round. After the selection of the preliminary round, 60 employees and 60 students entered the final round respectively. The content of the competition consisted of three modules: theoretical knowledge test, practical study travel course design and practical study travel demonstration, covering the core skills and professionalism necessary for study travel instructors, and reflecting the combination of study travel research study and travel experience.
The successful holding of the competition further reflects the role of the college as the first batch of study tour industry talent training base in talent training and social service.
