The 1st Shandong Cruise Operation Service Vocational Skills Competition of 2023 Skills to Revitalize Shandong Vocational Skills Competition started in our school on November 23rd.
Under the guidance of Shandong Human Resources and Social Security Department, this competition is organized by Shandong Provincial Chamber of Commerce for Overseas Investment and Economic Cooperation and hosted by the college.
With the aim of benchmarking international standards, demonstrating Chinese characteristics, staying close to the actual production and reflecting the work process, the competition comprehensively promotes the post-course-competition-certificate integration by assessing the theoretical knowledge and skill level of the cruise operation service personnel.
The competition consists of two parts: theoretical assessment and skill operation, involving three modules: theory test, cabin bed-making and cabin first aid, covering the core skills and professionalism required for the tasks of the cruise ship cabin positions, requiring participants to use proficient guest service skills, effective first aid measures, skilled communication skills, good manners and demeanor for the guests to provide high-quality cruise services, emphasizing the standardization of the operation, standardization and professionalism.
During the competition, the contestants were fully concentrated on theoretical questions, skillful in cabin service, calm in first aid treatment, fully demonstrating the professional skills and spirit of cruise operation service talents, which is a great event for Shandong Province's cruise operation service industry.
The successful hosting of the competition further practiced our college's role as Qingdao International Cruise Vocational Training Base, Talent Cultivation Demonstration Base of China Cruise Tourism Development Experimental Zone , and Practice and Teaching Base of Intelligent Cruise Port Industry and Teaching Integration in talent cultivation, skill training and social service.
