On November 21, the press conference on the establishment of the Industry-Education Integration Community of National Hotel Industry &Modern Lodging Industry was held in Beijing, at which the two industry-education integration communities jointly led by the college were established.
The Industry-Education Integration Community of National Hotel Industry was jointly led by China Rongtong Tourism Industry Development Group Co., Ltd, Zhejiang University and the college, and the Industry-Education Integration Community of Modern Lodging Industry was jointly led by Huazhu Group, Jinan University and the college.
The two Communities were guided by the China Hotel Association as the guiding unit. Up to now, the Community has absorbed 223 member units, and the first council meeting will be held in January 2024 in Qingdao.
At the conference, Li Da said, the college adhere to the integration of production and education, school-enterprise cooperation, and strive to create a school-enterprise community of destiny. The college has improved the quality of talent training and achieved a large number of high-level landmark results. As the only hotel management specialty group in the construction project of the national Double High-level Program, the related majors have been awarded national backbone majors, national modern apprenticeship pilot majors, and the teacher team has been selected as the national vocational education teachers' teaching innovation team, and the ranking of majors ranks steadily in the forefront of the country. As the joint lead unit, the college will take the initiative to assume the role of strengthening synergy, and strive to make the Community into a new organizational form of industry-education integration with a high degree of matching between the layout of industry and education, and efficient docking of two-way services.
Song Xiaoxi, vice president and secretary-general of China Hotel Association, delivered a speech at the inauguration ceremony. She said that the establishment of the Community is the national accommodation industry to implement the spirit of the Party's 20th Congress, the integration of talent training and industrial development of the important innovation initiatives.

At the meeting, the representatives of each unit also carried out exchanges and interactions on issues of concern to the media reporters.
