On November 18, the inaugural meeting of the Industry and Education Integration Community of National Boutique Culture and Tourism(IEICNBCT) initiated by the college in cooperation with Shandong Culture and Tourism Group Co. and Minzu University of China kicked off in Jinan, Shandong Province.
The Community consists of a total of 169 organizations, including 10 higher education institutions, 97 vocational colleges and universities, 62 industry enterprises and research institutions.
Sun Lei, deputy director of Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said in her speech that the Community is an industry-academia-research community consisting of national industry organizations of culture and tourism industry, enterprises of the industrial chain, vocational colleges and universities, scientific research institutes, etc., and it is a carrier for innovation and cooperation, and an important platform for promoting the development of culture and tourism industry.
On behalf of the college, Li Da expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the leaders, guests and friends from all walks of life who cared about and supported the construction and development of the Community. He said that the college, as the lead ognization, will rely on the national high-quality community, adhering to the integration of industry and education, cooperation and sharing, strategic win-win principle, to create a new organizational form of industry and education integration that is highly compatible with the layout of industry and education, efficient docking of services, and support for the development of the whole industry.
Li Da, Weidati Migiti, Qin Chunling, Sun Lei, Guo Qingzhi, and Ding Yi jointly inaugurated the establishment of the Community. Li Da, Ding Yi and Weidati Migiti jointly unveiled the plaque for the first batch of on-site engineer training programs in Shandong Province and the enterprise practice teaching and research base of Minzu University of China.
Zhang Zongguo and Sun Chao, deputy general manager of Shandong Culture and Tourism Group, signed the contract for the establishment of Shandong Culture and Tourism Industry Institute, and Li Yongqiang, deputy general manager of the National Open University Publishing and Media Group, signed the contract for the first batch of new national standard teaching materials for boutique tourism in China.
Ding Yi and Weidati Migiti delivered speeches on behalf of Shandong Culture and Tourism Group Co. and Minzu University of China respectively. Peng Jian, professor and doctoral supervisor of Central University for Nationalities, and other participating experts delivered keynote speeches respectively.
The conference also held the general manager forum, dean's forum, and seminar on the construction of teaching resource library of Study Tour Management and Service majors respectively.
Relying on the Community, the college will focus on the modern vocational education system of the new era, and actively converge the resources of industry and education, continue to promote the in-depth integration of institutions and industries, enhance the matching degree of supply and demand of talents, and push forward the joint scientific research and innovation of the college and enterprises, so as to provide a strong impetus for the development of culture and tourism industry.
