The college wins the first prize of the national competition

The 18th Challenge Cup National College Students' Extracurricular Academic and Scientific & Technological Works Competition was held in Guizhou University from October 27th to 31st.

The works of Guarding the Youth: Uncovering the Addiction Code Behind the Consumption of Blind Boxes - An Investigation Based on the Consumption of Blind Boxes in the Neighborhood of 126 Primary and Middle Schools won the first prize in the national competition.

With the aim of advocating science, pursuing true knowledge, studying hard, innovating and meeting challenges, the Challenge Cup is an important carrier of the Communist Youth League to serve college students' scientific and technological innovation. The number of universities and students participating in this year's competition has reached a record high, and the coverage of the competition has been further expanded, attracting more than 2,000 universities and colleges, more than 400,000 works and more than 2.5 million students to participate in the competition.

Since January, the school launched the Challenge Cup on-campus selection, after expert evaluation, a total of 21 works recommended to participate in the provincial competition, won three special prizes, five first prizes, eleven second prizes, two third prizes, of which one of the works was selected as the final finalists in the country.

The award-winning works were directed by Mr. Chen Chao from School of Arts and Tourism, and participated by 6 students including Zhong Liyu, Wang Ziqi, Wu Xiaofan, etc. After the fierce competition, the works finally stood out from the 1745 works in the national final competition.

This award fully demonstrates our students challenge spirit, and the college Youth League Committee will make use of  Challenge Cup Internet + competition as a platform, continue to focus on project cultivation, to promote the transformation of practical achievements, and constantly guide students to transform their professional knowledge into practical contributions to society.
