The college holds unveiling ceremony of practice teaching base for aesthetic in the academic lecture hall on September 19. The completion of the teaching base realizes the sharing of aesthetic education resources inside and outside the college, and will provide a broader platform for the college's aesthetic education.
Wang Shaobo, Chairman of Qingdao Literature Federation, Zhu Zhenhua, Executive Director of Shandong Folklore Society, Feng Yaodong, Director of Non-heritage Department of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and Jiang Yupeng, Principal of the school, participated in the activity.
Jiang Yupeng said that aesthetic education, as a comprehensive education method, is an important focus point for cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physicality, aesthetics and labor in the new era, and plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating students' aesthetic emotion, creativity and cultural cultivation.
Feng Yaodong, Director of Non-heritage Department of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, said that teaching base is not only a venue for aesthetic education, but also an important link to inherit traditional culture; he hoped that this platform will encourage students to be creative, and further promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
At the ceremony, the participating leaders and the persons in charge of the museums unveiled the plaques for bases of both sides.
Zhao Dunling, director of Qingdao Haiyou Museum, presented the collection of cultural and creative works to the college.
After the meeting, Prof. Shui Jin, director of Qingdao University's Folk Craft Aesthetics Curator, gave a lecture on the theme of Exploration and Practice of Non-heritage in Aesthetic Education and Dual-Creation Education of Colleges to teachers and students.
The practice teaching base for aesthetic education was established by our college, based on the Qingdao Bobokezi Museum, and jointly built with Folk Crafts and Aesthetics Museum of Qingdao University , Qingdao Haiyou Museum, Qingdao Tiangong Longquan Porcelain Museum, Qingdao Gebeitang Cups Museum, and so on.
This made our college become the first one in Qingdao universities that started to build a practice teaching base for aesthetic education, and realized a new leap in the innovation of the mode of aesthetic education.
