The college held the founding ceremony of Qingdao Research Institute of Prefabricated Vegetable Standardization(QRIPVS) on March 13.
At the ceremony, President Jiang Yupeng introduced the college from the aspects of school history, specialty development, teaching staff, and the construction of the double high-level program. He said that our culinary specialty has a long history, outstanding technical strength, and a gathering of masters, which has the unique advantage of promoting the research and development of the prefabricated food industry.
Based on its own professional skill endowment, the college will actively carry out the research and development of key technologies of prefabricated dishes, promote the construction of the standardization system, build the quality and safety supervision system, and contribute wisdom and strength to create the integrated innovation model of the whole industrial chain of prefabricated dishes and promote the development of the prefabricated dishes industry in Qingdao.
Shi Yuelin,the second-level inspector of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said that relying on well-known universities, advanced enterprises and scientific research institutes, QRIPVS can effectively aggregate the advantages of production, teaching, technology and research. It is hoped that the research institute will actively promote the standardization of production, flavor and quality, and create a standard system of prefabricated food industry with Qingdao characteristics.
Song Hui, director of the Rural Industry Development Division of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, read out the list of members of QRIPVS.
Shi Yuelin and Jiang Yupeng jointly unveiled the QRIPVS.
Shi Yuelin issued a letter of appointment to Wang Zhixing, president of QRIPVS and vice president of the School of Culinary.
Jiang Yupeng issued a letter of appointment to the head of QRIPVS. Jia Jianjiang and other experts respectively issued letters of appointment to the members of the institute.
It is understood that QRIPVS is a research institute jointly built by Qingdao Agricultural University, Qingdao Institute for Food and Drug Control and Qingdao Taixiangyuan Prefabricated Vegetable Standardization Research Co., Ltd. to promote the construction of qingdao prefabricated vegetable standard system. All sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the design and development of prefabricated dishes, optimization of processing technology, formulation of industrial standards, quality and safety control, and share intellectual property rights and patent achievements.
The establishment of QRIPVS is conducive to deepening the integration of production and education, school-enterprise cooperation, promoting the development of production, education, technology and research and talent team construction of the school, and leading the industrial innovation and development.
