The 2nd Shandong Internet plus Health Tourism Competition for College Students came to an end recently. The students of the School of Culture and Tourism won the first prize for their entries, and Sun Xiaohan and Wang Jianlun were awarded the title of excellent instructors.
This competition is jointly sponsored by Shandong Science and Technology Association, Shandong Provincial Department of Education and other departments, aiming to cultivate health tourism talents and promote the integration and development of the Internet and tourism industry. The competition involves more than 200 cross integrated majors such as new liberal arts, new medical science, and new engineering. A total of 927 teams from 58 colleges and universities across the country participated in the competition, and 202 teams reached the final.
During the finals, the team participated in the exhibition and defense of the project works with the help of online network meetings. The works, Perfect the Details, Meet Better Yourself , focus on the theme of women's health care, explore the development path of health care products based on the calculation of emotional value of tourism big data. It forms a health care tourism product that is relaxed, lively, interesting, and diversified, fully demonstrating the rich knowledge reserves and creative ability.
This competition has stimulated the interest of teachers and students in the Internet plus Health Tourism industry and their awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship, and also promoted the communication between the School of Culture and Tourism and the Internet and tourism industry.
