The college undertakes the training of the Chinese and Western pastry craft culture and skills training for ASEAN countries

As the initiator of China(Shandong)-ASEAN Industry-college-research for Vocational Education, the college took the lead in carrying out the Chinese and Western pastry craft culture and skills training for ASEAN countries from September 5 to 9.

The five-day training aims to provide 35 Thai students with explanation of Chinese food culture and skills training, guide and help students to deeply understand and learn the production skills of representative varieties of Chinese pastry. The training strive to create a model of vocational education cooperation with ASEAN countries, and serve the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative with vocational education and technology output.

In the early stage, based on the characteristics and needs of students, the teachers of the School of Culinary Arts combined traditional Chinese pastry with modern pastry, and customized teaching plans and series of training courses suitable for students.

In accordance with the China (Shandong) - ASEAN vocational education industry, college and research base construction plan, the college will build a vocational education sharing and exchange platform, strengthen cooperation and exchange, resource sharing and skill training with colleges in ASEAN countries, so as to promote the opening-up and high-quality sustainable development of school vocational education.
