The 38th Teachers' Day and excellent teachers’ commendation meeting was held in the Academic Lecture Hall on September 8.
On behalf of the college, Li Da congratulated the commended collectives and individuals, extended festive greetings to the teachers and educators of the college, and sincerely welcomed the new teachers.
Li Da said that in recent years, the majority of faculty of the college have fully implemented the Party's education policy, implemented the fundamental task of building morality and educating people, anchored the goal of building a college of domestic first-class and internationally famous brand of all-round vocational education in the hospitality industry, and made new achievements in all aspects of work.
Li Da put forward some hopes to the teachers. We should strengthen our ideals and beliefs, establish good teacher ethics and style, devote ourselves to teaching and educating people, constantly improve our professional level, be brave and good at reforming teaching contents, teaching models and teaching methods, and improve the level and quality of classroom teaching.
When presiding over the meeting, president Jiang Yupeng said that teachers should consciously assume the responsibility of being a guide and guide for the healthy growth of students, further strengthen their professional ideals, improve their professional level, enhance their sense of innovation, strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics, and greet the successful convocation of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with practical actions and excellent achievements.

Liu Yan, the winner of the fifth Excellent Teacher of the college and a teacher of the School of Business Administration, spoke as a teacher representative and shared her struggle in teaching and educating people.

At the meeting, a swearing in ceremony for new teachers was held. Under the leadership of Wang Zhixing, a technical expert of Shandong province, vice president of the School of Culinary Arts, all the new teachers solemnly swore.
The meeting was conducted in an Online + Offline manner. A main venue was set up in the Academic Conference Hall, and branch venues were set up by other departments.
