The college wins the first prize of Cooking Event (Higher Vocational Group) of 2022 National Vocational College Skills Competition

The Cooking Event (Higher Vocational Group) of 2022 National Vocational College Skills Competition  was held in Liaoning Vocational and Technical College of Modern Service from August 20 to 24.

The team composed of Xu Baofang, Su Yanbin, Zhang Yunlong and Li Hongyu, students of the School of Culinary Arts, won the first prize with the banquet works Mountains and Seas • Beautiful Countryside, and Yin Dong and Ma Jian won the Excellent Instructor.

The competition was sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the People's Government of Liaoning province. A total of 196 athletes from 49 higher vocational colleges participated in the competition. There are four links in the event: planning banquet design booklet, banquet work production, on-site statement and defense, and banquet display. The entries need to be completed by team cooperation, and the event comprehensively examined the participants' on-site design and response ability, nutrition matching and calculation ability, standard operation level and innovation and creativity.

The school team has a clear division of labor, calm response and close cooperation. With solid technical skills, excellent on-site play and tacit team cooperation, it has achieved excellent results.

The first prize fully demonstrated the achievements of the Double High-level Program construction and education and teaching reform of the School of Culinary Arts, and further improved our professional recognition and industry influence.
