The College holds online video talks with Hyejeon College, South Korea

The College held a video conference on international exchange and cooperation with Hyejeon College, South Korea on December 30. The two sides reviewed the course of 12 years’ cooperation through video exhibition and held in-depth discussions on many issues.

Li huishu, director general of Hyejeon College, Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, and Song Chao, deputy secretary of the Party committee, participated in the conference.

Li Da said that based on the needs of vocational education development and taking cooking education as the medium, we have jointly built a communication bridge between vocational education in China and South Korea since the establishment of cooperation between the two colleges in 2009. 

2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea. It is hoped that the two sides will take this opportunity to constantly explore and innovate cooperation and exchange modes, enhance understanding and consolidate friendship, and jointly create a new model of food culture and vocational education exchanges between China and South Korea.

Li huishu affirmed the semester based online teaching during the epidemic period of both sides. She said that the 12 years of cooperation between the two sides have forged profound friendship. The online video talks will open a new journey and usher in new development for the two sides to deepen cooperation and exchanges.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on the study for one semester in China of Chinese food specialty of Hyejeon College in 2022, professional exchange of Korean food, promotion of Chinese and Korean food culture and other issues. 

In combination with the construction goal of the Double High-level Program, the college will introduce Korean food courses of Hyejeon College, enrich cooking teaching, provide diversified support for students' learning, promote the internationalization and diversified development of cooking vocational education, and realize mutual learning and common development.
