The final and award ceremony of 2021 Qingdao Tour Guide Competition came to a successful conclusion in the afternoon of December 20.
The Competition lasted two months with the theme Be Passionate and Successful in Qingdao jointly organized by the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Municipal Office of Civilization, the Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social security, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Municipal Youth League Committee and the Municipal Women's Federation and hosted by the college
After the competition selection in the preliminary and semi-final stages, 17 contestants were selected from nearly 100 excellent tour guides and commentators from travel agencies, scenic spots and museums. In the final, the interpreter group and the tour guide group displayed three parts in turn: explanation of self-selected scenic spots, on-site creation and explanation of tour guide speech, Knowledge Q & A and adaptability. Dong Xinjie and Lu Zhe majoring in tourism management of our college, won the second and third prizes respectively, and Zhang Chen won the Best Tour Guide Speech Creation Award and the third prize. The college won the Outstanding Contribution Award.

In this competition, the contestants deeply explore the regional cultural characteristics of Qingdao, which vary according to different people, place, time and scenery. They explained the beautiful scenery and customs of Qingdao from multiple angles and tell the story of Qingdao, which shows the open, modern, dynamic and fashionable city image of Qingdao.
