The founding meeting of Tourism Vocational Education Professional Committee(TVEPC) of China Vocational and Technical Education Association was held in Hangzhou from July 14 to 15. President Jiang Yupeng was elected deputy director of TVEPC.
Lu Xin, President of China Vocational and Technical Education Association, and director of the expert Steering Committee of TVEPC, made a report entitled New vocational education major: measures to help the development of culture and tourism. At the same time, the Summit Forum on digital transformation of tourism vocational education was held. Experts and scholars from the government, school and enterprise all over the country discussed the challenges, opportunities and development direction of tourism vocational education under the background of digital transformation of education.
In the course presentation of implementing the new version of the professional catalogue, Zhou Hailei of the School of Culture and Tourism conducted the course presentation of Simulation and On-site Tour Guide from four aspects: teaching analysis, strategy, implementation and reflection.

TVEPC is a branch of China Vocational and Technical Education Association. It is a national, mass, professional education teaching and academic research group engaged in tourism vocational education and professional teaching practice research. Up to now, TVEPC has attracted 106 unit members and 176 individual members, including 32 tourism colleges and universities, with members covering 28 provinces in seven regions.
