The College held a report meeting of national labor model workers on campus on December 2. Guan Yan'an, a great country craftsman and a national model worker in 2020, and chief technician of the No.2 Engineering Co., Ltd. of CCCC first Harbor Engineering Company, shared his touching deeds of dedication.
Jiang Yupeng, President of the college, attended the meeting and presented the appointment letter of Moral tutor for Guan Yan'an.
At the beginning, the participants watched the documentary. With the theme of great workers and glorious labor, Guan Yan'an, in combination with his own work experience, tells us that his fellow workers and he volunteered to build bridges for the country. Adhering to the concept of taking every time as the first time and being meticulous and not allowing hidden dangers to leave the dock gate, Guan Yan'an carried forward the spirit of labor in the super project of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and added luster to the modernization of the motherland.
It is reported that Guan Yan'an has practiced the unique skills of installing zero gap and listening to sound to distinguish the gap. During the installation of 33 giant immersed tubes and 600,000 screws of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Guan Yan'an has created a deep-sea miracle of zero error for seven years, and has made great contributions to the world's first watertight offshore immersed tunnel construction miracle.
The students have all said that they should learn the spirit of the model worker and the craftsman spirit to master the core skills and become talents to serve the country.
