The training course of cooking skills for Chinese cooks from a certain department of  Northern Theater Command  was held in our college from November 16 to 30.  30 cooks received 15 days of vocational skills training and all of them finished the course successfully.

The training was undertaken by the Department of Continuing Education, and the Dept. of Culinary Arts was entrusted with the development and design of courses, the formation of a team of teachers, the acquisition of training materials and the implementation of skills training. According to the training needs of the participants, our college designed the training program accurately, and developed the training course into three modules: theoretical teaching, teacher demonstration and student production, covering more than 60 special courses such as Chinese food, pastry, carving, flower spelling, basic skills, food nutrition, food culture, etc. Through cultural edification, theoretical learning and skill training, the cultural theory level and hands-on skills of the majority of cooks have been significantly improved, and the teaching staff and training service quality of the college have been unanimously praised by the participating officers and soldiers.

The whole training process is arranged in the Training Center of the Dept. of Culinary Arts, which has accumulated rich experience for the redevelopment and reuse of teaching facilities.

This training is a military civilian co-construction training project introduced by our college. It is an important measure for the college and the resident troops to jointly practice the concept of Learning for all and Lifelong education. It has reference significance for similar training in project introduction, curriculum development, organization process, etc., and can effectively improve ability of the social service.
