Ms. Lu Xin, President of Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education (CSTVE) and former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, came to our college to investigate and guide the work, and made an academic report on new stage, new occupation and new specialty for all teachers on the afternoon of November 28.
Ms. Lu Xin pointed out that the 14th Fve-year Plan period is the first five years for China to take advantage of the situation to start a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way and march towards the second centenary goal. To implement the new development concept, build a domestic and international dual cycle development pattern with domestic and international circulation as the main body, and promote high-quality development, it is necessary for the education system, especially vocational education, to continuously deliver high-quality human resources. The vocational colleges should have the courage to take responsibility and act actively, promote professional upgrading and digital transformation, and give birth to new development momentum through scientific and technological innovation and digital transformation, which can realize the high quality development of vocational education.
Mr. Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee, pointed out that Ms. Lu's report was of high standing, new views, clear ideas and practical measures, which provided a new theoretical basis for the professional digital transformation and had strong practical value.
Mr. Li Da required that we should deeply understand and study the views of Ms. Lu's report, integrate them into the preparation of the 14th Fve-year Plan and the practice of education and teaching reform, and guide the construction of double high-level program and professional upgrading and transformation of the college.
The college has a main venue in the academic lecture hall, and sub venues in the departments and administrative buildings. More than 500 members of the teamand all teachers attended the conference.
Before giving the report, Ms. Lu Xin and her party visited the training base,such as Cainiao Station, Qingdao Tourism Big Data Center, and Training Center of Hotel Management College. She had in-depth exchanges with teachers and students of the college to understand the education and teaching situation of the college in detail and give them careful guidance.
