Shandong Selection Competition of the 1st National Skills Competition of Tea Art

Shandong Selection Competition of the 1st National Skills Competition of Tea Art opened in the college on September 19. This provincial selection competition is sponsored by Human Resources and Social Security Department of ShandongProvince and undertaken by our college, which is a provincial level first-class skill competition. 41 staff and students from 14 provincial organizations and colleges, including Shandong Agricultural University, will compete on the same stage. Wang Xin, deputy secretary of the college Party committee, presided over the opening ceremony.


Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, expressed his wish that all the contestants could exercise their skills, cultivate their sentiment, become tea art talents with good behavior and noble morality, and inject more lasting power into the development and prosperity of China's tea culture.

In his speech, Mr. Huang Tonghua, the second level inspector of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, introduced Qingdao's urban development environment of Bay, group and multi-level. Qingdao is building a leading domestic and international first-class vocational education highland of innovation and development, striving to build a lifelong modern vocational education system, and increasing the demand for technical and skilled personnel.


Mr. Huang Tonghua announced the opening of the competition. Wang Yuefei, the chief referee, and Zhao Mingjiao, the representative of the contestants, respectively made a speech and took an oath.

 There are four items in the competition, namely, tea sample identification, tea art regulation, self-created tea art and tea soup quality competition. The topics of the competition are formulated according to the skill requirements of professional posts of tea artists and the relevant standards of advanced level(National vocational qualification level III) and technician level (National professional qualification level II). The comprehensive quality of contestants is mainly investigated. It is emphasized that the color, aroma, taste and shape of tea should be fully displayed by scientific methods, and the innovative ability of tea art workers should be displayed to achieve the beauty of tea, utensils, water, artistic conception and action.

Through the competition, we'll carry forward the broad and profound Chinese tea culture, integrate the spirit of tea culture into the national education, and explore new ways of skilled personnel training of tea art.

As the organizer of the competition, the college has sent more than 150 teachers and students volunteers, and provided one-on-one service for the contestants. And all services are completed by the student team, which provides a real teaching practice platform for teachers and students.
