Jointly sponsored by Shandong Provincial Department of Education and Shandong Committee of China Education Trade Union, and organized by Shandong Higher Education Teacher Training Center, the final of the 7th Superstar Cup Teaching Competition of Young College Teachers in Shandong Province came to an end from July 30 to August 5. Liu Yu and Huang Yuan of Accounting Dept. won the first prize and third prize of liberal arts group respectively, Han Nana of the Dept. of Hotel Engineering won the third prize of Engineering Group, Zhang Jingjing of the Dept. of Basic Teaching won the excellent award, and the college won the award of excellent organization.
The competition lasted 10 months and more than 4000 young teachers from 143 colleges and universities in Shandong province participated in it, of which 623 were shortlisted for the provincial preliminary competition and 291 were promoted to the provincial final. The competition consists of five subject groups: Engineering, liberal arts, science, ideological and political science, and medicine. The competition contains three parts: teaching design, classroom teaching and teaching reflection. Due to the need of normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the competition was carried out by combining online review and live broadcast,and our teachers watched the competition synchronously online at home.
