Our China-Cambodia Joint Training Program of Hospitality Industry Talents was successfully selected into the list of the third batch of Characteristic Cooperation Project of China-ASEAN Higher Vocational Colleges , which is the only China-Cambodia project among the 20 projects in this batch and it's also the only joint training project with the theme of hotel industry among all three batches of 60 projects.
The project is an important achievement of the college's "Double high-level program" construction, responding to the opening policy of the state and serving the “The Belt and Road” initiative. The project includes 4 sub projects, namely, the exchange of students from Qingdao and Siem Reap(QS) student, the exchange of teachers for QS Masters, the training of technical skills in QS Workshop, and the cooperation of QS School. We will promote cooperation in training, teacher exchange and training, technical skills training, standard setting, and running schools.
About Characteristic Cooperation Project of China-ASEAN Higher Vocational Colleges
Characteristic Cooperation Project of China-ASEAN Higher Vocational Colleges is guided by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education, and is specifically carried out by China Education Association for International Exchange，CEAIE. 20 characteristic cooperation projects with ASEAN member states are selected each year as demonstration and the construction period is five years. This successful selection is another milestone event in the internationalization process of college education after winning the awards of Asia-Pacific Top 50 Vocational Education Influence, Top 50 International Influence and World Alliance of Vocational Colleges Excellence Award.
