The project “Dough Mould” is listed as excellent traditional Chinese cultural heritage base in Shandong Province, which was issued by the Ministry of Education of Shandong Province recently.
According to the project plan, we will strengthen the base construction in the teaching courses, associations, workshops, scientific research, exhibition and communication. In the next three years, Qingdao “Dough Mould” Museum will be built to reach the standard of Shandong provincial-level museum. We’re going to have 9 relevant courses such as skill appraisal courses, public selective courses for skills and culture of “Dough Mould”. Student associations will also be set up, such as “Dough Mould” Heritage Association, Dough Sculpture Association and Sugar Art Association. We’ll integrate association resources and build Culture and Art league association, build “Qifeng Luyi” workshop of Qingdao technical and cultural experience center of “Dough Mould”. Some mechanism will be built to strengthen a synergy between research institutions and work institutions. A display and exchange platform will be set up to demonstrate four traditional festivals, promote overseas activities.
