The delegation of Hyejeon College of South Korea visits our college

On June 13, Li Shizhen, President of Hyejeon College of South Korea, and his delegation visited our college for the first time. Li Da, Party Secretary of the College, Yu Min, Diao Hongbin and Gong Enlong, Vice President of the College, received the visitors warmly.

Li Da warmly welcomed President Li and his delegation. He thanked President Li and his team for their warm reception during his visit to Hyejeon College last month. He also introduced the current basic situation, school-running characteristics and international exchanges of our college. He said that the two sides have had 11 years of friendly cooperation as sister schools, The cooperation between the two colleges in high-level visits, teacher-student exchanges and professional co-construction has yielded fruitful results. He hoped that with our joint efforts, the cooperation will reach a new level and open a new stage of development, so as to make new and greater contribution to the food, cultural and educational exchanges between China and South Korea.

President Li Shizhen hoped that the two schools would further strengthen exchanges, maintain close sisterhood and jointly open up a new history on the basis of the original one. During the talks, the two sides reviewed the course of cooperation over the past 11 years. 319 Korean students have benefited from the Chinese Cuisine Research and Training Project, which makes due contributions to the culinary cultural exchanges between us and even the two countries.

Accompanied by Li Da and other college leaders, President Li Shizhen and his delegation went to the Culinary College to observe the classes of foreign students and students of Hyejeon College, and tasted the Chinese pastries made by the teachers and students of the Dept. of Culinary Arts. They praised the chefs for their excellent skills. During the visit, they also visited the training center of the Dept. of Tourism and Hotel Management, the Delivery Station of the Dept. of Business Administration and the International Exchange Center where they knew about the accommodation and living conditions of the students of Hyejeon College here, and held talks with their students.
