The delegation of China University of Technology in Taiwan province visit our college

Liao Xianwen, Vice President of China University of Technology in Taiwan province, Chen Zhechong, Dean of the Academic Affairs Department, and Wang Shengxuan, Executive Director of the Cross-Strait Exchange Office visited our college on the afternoon of May 9. Yu Min, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and Zhou Li, Director of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, warmly received visitors in the conference room on the second floor of the office building.

During the talks, Yu Min warmly welcomed Liao Xianwen's first visit. He introduced the basic situation, professional settings, school-running characteristics and foreign exchanges of our college. He pointed out that our cooperation is in a good state. He hoped that the two sides could establish preliminary contacts, exchange needs and strengthen cooperation. Liao Xianwen thanked our college for its warm reception. He also introduced the basic situation and school-running characteristics of China University of Technology in Taiwan, as well as the exchanges between the two sides over the years. He hoped that formal contacts and exchanges between the two universities would be actively promoted.

Subsequently, the two sides discussed teacher training, professional docking, student exchanges etc, and reached a preliminary intention.

During the visit, Liao Xianwen and his delegation, accompanied by Zhou Li, visited the training center of the College of Tourism and Hotel Management, and highly appraised the advanced school-running idea, outstanding achievements and perfect training facilities of our college.

China University of Technology of Taiwan province was founded in 1965. It is the first private university of science and technology in Taipei City. It has two campuses in Taipei and Xinzhu City. It consists of three schools, including Planning and Design School, Management School and Information School, 14 departments and 7 master's classes, with 11,170 students.
