On April 23, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy was held in Qingdao. 80 students from the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management and Culinary Arts actively participated in and successfully completed the service.
The students who served this important event have been selected from different levels, and have excellent banquet service skills, English and teamwork spirit. Students received more than 20 days of intensive teaching, situational rehearsal, live exercise and other forms of high-level service training. Our students have won praise from foreign guests for their enthusiastic, professional, and high-quality service, and have expressed their gratitude for volunteers.
College leaders attach great importance to this activity. The functional departments have coordinated and helped in curriculum arrangement, dormitory arrangement and power security, thus ensuring the success of this volunteering work.
This service is another major task accepted by our students after serving the 2018 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Qingdao. It has improved their psychological quality, strengthened their service skills, broadened their international horizons, and is another demonstration of our school strength and educational achievements. During this activiy, the students shouldered the heavy burden bravely and took the initiative, and were recognized and praised by the guests, troops and international conference centers.
