We win a silver medal at 2018 China-ASEAN Vocational Education Student Culinary Skill Competition

2018 China-ASEAN Vocational Education Student Culinary Skill Competition took place at Nanning Vocational and Technical College from November 7-9. About 100 contestants from both China and ASEAN attended this contest. We took part in three games of the competition and won silver medal in cold dishes of western cuisine as a team through our excellent skills and outstanding performance.

China-ASEAN Vocational Education Student Culinary Skill Competition is sponsored by Education Department of Guangxi Zhang Autonomous Region and Vocational Training Center of Hong Kong Special Administration. It’s organized by Guangxi-Hong Kong Modern Vocational Education Department Alliance and Nanning College of Vocation and Technology.  The purpose of this competition is to strengthen the cooperation in vocational education in different areas, demonstrate the professional qualification and operation skills and enhance skill-exchange   and common development.

Before the competition, we set up a training team including 5 experienced teachers, such as Wang Zhixing, Liu Junxin, Lijun, Xing Wenjun and Jiang Yuntao. Because we did lots of preparation, we performed so well that we achieved a big prize, which examines our teaching and enrich our teaching practice. The achievement we’ve gained  boosts our reputation and promote our international influences.
