The First Lesson of College Life-Chinese Military Training

Two-week’s military training is carrying out in QVTCHM and the number of trained students reached over5,000 this year.

Jiang Yupeng,

President of QVTCHM,

proposed three big questions for college students,

that is:

  • What are our responsibilities as youth in new era?

  • How do we realize our goals and missions in college?

  • How should we adapt ourselves to new college life?

Mr. Jiang hoped everyone to promote the spirit of patriotism, improve the idea of defense, developgood will and character, shape the collectivism and benefit later learning by military training.

According to the Law of the People's Republic of China on National Defense Education, undergraduates should have military training when term opens or after National Day. QVTCHM focuses more on basic military training such as formation, movement and discipline. Formation training includes stand at attention, stand at ease, footwork, saluteand review.
