The dialogue between the presidents of the Chinese and American vocational colleges

The dialogue between presidents of Chinese and American vocational colleges and the meeting of tens of millions of Chinese and American colleges held by the China Education Association for International Exchange were held online on December 21.

Yu Yougen, Deputy Secretary General of China Education Association for International Exchange, Hindman, Governor of San Banadino, California, USA, and Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Li Da gave a special report on the theme of Building a 'Exceed Expectations' Student Service System and Cultivating High-quality Technical and Skilled Personnel, introduced the basic situation of the school running and the project of Exceed Expectations Student Service System, and shared experience on the content and effectiveness of the System from four aspects: academic services, informationization services, Employment and entrepreneurship services, and social practice services. 

He said that, as one of the first batch of  Joint Training Program of China-American High-quality Skilled and Applied Talents , the college adheres to open education, relies on the international exchange and cooperation platform, and provides services for the sustainable development of students through the construction of the  Exceed Expectations  Student Service System, which has effectively improved the students' professional competitiveness and trained a large number of globally competent talents with professional quality. It has achieved the goal of vocational education and promoted the college to form a good situation of everyone can become a talent and everyone can give full play to their talent.

At the meeting, four Chinese colleges and five American colleges shared their exploration experience and practical results of high-quality development of vocational education online.

The meeting expanded the scope of cooperation, laid a good foundation for further cooperation between the college and American vocational colleges, and will certainly add new vitality to the international development of the college.
