The International Invitational Contest of Internet of Things Technology at 2022 China ASEAN Education Cooperation Week came to an end on December 7, and the students of the School of Information Engineering Technology won one second prize and one third prize.
Guided by China ASEAN Education Cooperation Week Organizing Committee and co-sponsored by Nantong Vocational University and the International Cultural Communication Center of Malaysia (ICCCM), the contest attracted 219 teams and 438 players from 7 countries including China and ASEAN.
The contest combines the relevant professional standards in the field of the Internet of Things and the actual organizational proposition of the industry. It involves the selection, planning and design of the Internet of Things system, the application of virtual simulation, the basic knowledge of the Internet of Things, and other tasks. It aims to tap and enhance outstanding technical talents of Internet of Things, further enrich and expand the intelligent application scenarios of the Internet of Things for China-ASEAN countries. To build an intelligent industrial ecosystem, and accelerate the upgrading of intelligent industries in various countries, we will promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and strengthen the training of high-quality vocational and technical personnel.
Before the contest, the School of Information Engineering Technology, together with the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and the Academic Affairs Office, actively organized teachers and students to participate in the contest and instructors made scientific and reasonable training plans for the students.
The award of this contest is a comprehensive test of students' professional skills and comprehensive quality. The School of Information Engineering Technology will continue to consolidate the achievements of professional teaching reform and comprehensive reform of curriculum quality improvement, enhance the adaptability of talent training, improve the quality of professional talent training, so as to serve the the Belt and Road construction with high-tech technology.
