The Award Ceremony of 1st National College Student Reading Contest

The award ceremony of 1st National College Student Reading Contest was held in Qingdao International Academician Park Hotel and live online on August 4.

The award ceremony elaborately designed the innovative link of virtual host. The programs with unique local characteristics and cultural heritage like Qingdao, Do Yourself Well,  Lu Shang's Justice and Innovation bring a wonderful cultural feast to the on-site audience.

In his speech, Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, pointed out that this contest organized by the college is an important content to promote the reading of the whole college and build a scholarly campus.

Xu Zhi, editor in chief of Chinese Campus Literature, and President Jiang Yupeng jointly unveiled the Creative Writing Base of Chinese Campus Literature.

After the awarding session, a youth reading forum was held, and the representatives of the winning authors conducted discussions and exchanges around the theme.

The 1st National College Student Reading Contest is jointly organized by China Campus Literature Magazine and our college. It aims to further create an atmosphere for national college students to read and learn, and cultivate their comprehensive quality, aesthetic accomplishment and cultural heritage.

The activity started in November 2021 and lasted for five months. It collected reading essays, book reviews or articles describing reading and life from college students across the country. It attracted 2,836 contributions from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University and other major universities across the country. Finally, 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 10 excellent works and 20 excellent prizes were selected.

This contest provides a wonderful literary competition for the majority of young students in colleges and universities across the country, and also fully demonstrates the youth style of college students in the new era.
