The college signs a strategic cooperation agreement with the Open University of Qingdao

The college held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Hotel Training Center on the morning of June 10. Both sides unveiled the Digital Teaching Resource Center and the National Marine (Cruise) Education and Teaching Practice Base, and awarded the appointment letter to the chief expert of the Digital Teaching Resource Center.

President Jiang Yupeng extended a warm welcome to President Zhang Xike and his party, and introduced the measures and achievements in school running ideas, specialty construction and teaching reform. He pointed out that the characteristics of the Open University of Qingdao, such as informatization and marine education, are in line with the national strategy, reflect the needs of the times and conform to the regional characteristics. He hoped that the two sides would strengthen communication and exchange, give full play to their respective advantages, build and share the Digital Teaching Resource Center and promote the deep integration of vocational education and open education.

President Zhang Xike introduced the school running history, scale and objectives of the Open University of Qingdao. He said that he would give full play to the positive role of the main online learning platform, realize the co construction and sharing of resources, mutual benefit and win-win situation. To build a model of cooperation between two sides, and explore new models and new paths for the development of higher education and online education, both sides will jointly promote the construction of a learning society and a lifelong education system.

This activity is a powerful measure to implement the integrated development of vocational education and continuing education in the new era. It is also another achievement to actively explore the talent training mode of combining academic education with non academic education, linking vocational education with continuing education, and integrating online learning with offline learning.
