2020 National Vocational Students Skills Reform Pilot Competition |"Restaurant Service" Event opens

The opening ceremony of the Restaurant Service Event of the higher vocational group of the Reform Pilot Competition in 2020 was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of the college on November 24. Representatives from vocational colleges, referees, supervisors and media reporters from all over the country attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Gong Enlong, vice president of the college.

The competition is sponsored by 37 departments such as the Ministry of education. As the highland of national vocational education innovation and development jointly built by the Ministry and province, all the items of the National Vocational College Skill Competition this year are held in Shandong Province.

It is reported that a total of 30 higher vocational colleges from all over the country will participate in the competition, focusing on the two parts of Chinese food service and Western food service. Chinese food service is divided into two modules: theme banquet design and banquet service; Western food service is divided into cocktail preparation and service, coffee making and service, and casual restaurant service. The competition covers the core skills and professional quality of hotel management teaching, emphasizing the standardization, process and professionalism of operation.

Tang Zhiguo, leader of the expert group, gave a speech on the new requirements 

of Reform Pilot Competition.


Zhaowei, member of arbitration group and researcher of Institute of Vocational 

and Technical Education Center of Ministry of Education, gave a speech on the 

importance of the Competition.


Professor Wang Jingqiang, judge of the Competition and director of Tourism 

Experimental Center of Huaqiao University, announced the opening of 

the competition
